Paloma is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She will adore you as much as you adore her! Paloma is a special needs kitty because she has a condition called FIV. According to the Cornell Feline Health Center, FIV is one of the most common diseases in cats around the world, effecting 2.5%-5% of healthy cats. They also say that while there is currently no cure for FIV, otherwise healthy cats with the virus should live an average lifespan. FIV is NOT contagious to humans or dogs. It is transmitted cat-to-cat via a bite. Paloma needs a loving home in which she is kept indoors. She can live with another friendly, healthy cat. A veterinarian may suggest a vitamin supplement to keep her immune system strong. Most of all, she needs LOVE and a warm lap to rest on. Be Paloma's hero! Come meet her today!
