This sweet girl has already been through more than any dog should. She’s a small black Shih Tzu mix, only 6 years old, and was recently found abandoned in a shopping plaza—matted from head to toe, covered in painful burrs, and unable to walk on one of her legs from the neglect. She had no collar, no microchip, and no one came looking for her.

Despite everything, she’s incredibly gentle and quiet. She doesn’t bark, she’s fully potty trained, and she lives for her walks. Though she has cataracts, she can still see shadows and navigates just fine. She’s good with people, other dogs—everyone. She’s a survivor with a heart full of love, just waiting for someone to show her what kindness feels like.

She’s not broken—she’s just waiting for her second chance.

Please, she desperately needs a foster or forever home where she can feel safe and start to heal.
